Purchasing a home involves a lot of paperwork, most of which are contractual documents that will legally bind both the Buyer and the Seller to numerous Terms and Conditions. Therefore it is essential for Buyers and Sellers to be represented by a Realtor who can write an Offer/Contract in a Professional knowlegable manner so that the interests of the parties are properly and legally represented. It is equally as important for Buyers and Sellers to each have a good Notary or Lawyer representing their interests in the "Completion" of the Contract. The "Completion" is the date on the Contract when the Seller, through their Lawyer or Notary, receives payment for the property and the Sellers Lawyer or Notary oversees the registration of the transfer of the Title of the property into the Buyer's name, along with the registration of any applicable Mortgages. This process is known as "Conveyancing" and is usually prepared by the respective Lawyer's or Notaries "Conveyancers". Finding a Notary or Lawyer The Notary or Lawyer's Function
